Our ENZYME PEEL has an anti-inflammatory effect and is successfully used to treat acne and enlarged pores. It also improves skin texture, minimizes pore size and wrinkles, and gives the skin a rosy, even glow.
Pores can become clogged by excessive sebum production, as well as dirt and sweat. A good scrub should gently and thoroughly cleanse the skin, removing loose skin cells and sebum. Thorough cleansing forms the basis of any good skincare routine and prepares the skin for subsequent products, making it more receptive. This allows the following products (e.g., Serum No. 1 and Serum No. 2) to penetrate the skin more effectively.
The ENZYME PEEL contains enzymes from pineapple, pomegranate, and quince, as well as natural salicylic acid from willow bark extract. We use white willow bark extract (Salix alba) because it is richer in salicylic acid and therefore gentler on the skin. The skin receives excellent cleansing, as calluses, blockages, and dead skin cells are removed thoroughly yet gently. Unlike synthetic salicylic acid, the natural salicylic acid we use is less irritating and does not cause redness or flaking. Plant-based salicylic acid is therefore often referred to as nature's aspirin.
Morphoderm Skin Esthetics ENZYME PEEL is a modern, gentle peel made from natural plant-based active ingredients without PEGs, perfume, or synthetic substances. It is vegan and combines time-tested and contemporary active ingredients. It contains neither abrasives nor chemical acids and is therefore ideally suited for dry, sensitive, and problematic skin.
An enzyme peel, among other things, uses its enzyme molecules to break down certain chemical substances. The protein molecules involved cleave the proteins that hold the cells of the stratum corneum together. This allows dead cells to be removed more easily.
Please always use a gentle exfoliator in your at-home skincare routine, 1-5 times per week, depending on your skin type. Afterwards, use the serum that is right for your skin.
