Here in an old Greek village, where her roots lie and where her grandfather many years ago made tinctures and oils from medicinal plants to help sick villagers, Anna Tsekeridu came across her grandfather's old pharmacopoeia containing recipes for self-healing. Fascinated by the meticulously recorded ingredients and natural healing methods with which her grandfather treated his fellow villagers free of charge in a time when there was no adequate medical care, and deeply impressed by what was possible back then thanks to simple botany, she took the recipe book back to Germany – convinced that she had found something valuable.
In her work as a trained beautician at her own institute in Germany, Anna Tsekeridu always strives for the best possible results. She followed this principle even when a desperate client with eczema asked her for help. When nothing else worked, Anna Tsekeridu had the idea of using a recipe from her grandfather and refining it in her own kitchen. The homemade tincture seemed to work wonders. The founder was overwhelmed by the success achieved so easily. Inspired by her client's well-being, she studied her grandfather's writings and developed a completely new approach to skincare: using tradition, modernity, and years of experience in the cosmetics industry to create exceptional skincare for the future. This marked the beginning of a new understanding of values, with due respect for nature and people, whom Anna Tsekeridu says deserve to be treated with the best possible care and dignity. ANNA TSEKERIDU
Anna Tsekeridu is a third-generation German resident, having emigrated to Germany in 1964 after her grandparents first immigrated. She initially attended a German school and then spent a year at a Greek high school in Thessaloniki before returning to Germany, where she earned her Abitur (university entrance qualification) and subsequently completed her training as a beautician. Numerous training courses and further education programs, both in Germany and abroad, followed, significantly broadening her professional and personal horizons. Due to severe skin problems and acne during puberty, she developed an early and keen interest in cosmetic methods for skin improvement. This sparked a deep passion for cosmetics, which remains undiminished today, even after more than 30 years of experience running her own salon. Her highest priority is to offer her clients a truly respectful and comprehensive experience through her products and treatments.
